Actual FIA credit card complaints, do they have basis?

posted by admin

There have been a lot of people who are posting about their FIA credit card complaints over the internet. Claiming that FIA is a legal scam and the general public should refrain from obtaining credit cards from the said company. However, in accordance to due process let us grant FIA the benefit of the doubt. Let us have a brief background about the company.

Previously known as the MBNA Coporation, FIA card services is a subsidiary of the Bank of America. Just like any other card services, FIA also offers managing your credit card transactions on line by logging on to www.ibsnetaccess.com. If you try to go to the given website, you will find a single page with very minimal content. There’s not much of information about the company. It’s as if the page is only meant for enrolling your account online. However, another website that goes by the URL: http://fiacardservicesxxx.net, is giving information about FIA card services but disclaims any relationship to the company. In their About tab, you can find these statements: we are just a website for review about fia card services. We have no connection, no relationship with www.ibsnetaccess.com.

I have personally spent some time searching for contact informations about FIA card services but have considerably failed in doing so. I do not know if I’m just not good with finding information or there’s just no information to be searched for anyway?

Anyhow, let me give you a list of FIA credit card complaints that I had no problem searching for in the internet. In fact, there are so many of it that I got overwhelmed. So here goes:

• First is an FIA credit card complaint claiming that he did not even apply for a credit card from FIA but received an e-mail from the said company, welcoming him as their newest customer. He has been finding ways to inform the company that he doesn’t want the credit card, but failed on doing so because there seems to be no way to contact them.

• The second FIA credit card complaint, on the other hand, talks about paying early to avoid being charged of an overwhelming 39 dollars late fee. However, due to paying too early, he was still charged of a late fee. Do the analyzing.

• Another FIA credit card complaint claims of his card number being changed because of suspected fraud without any contact to him. However, when on a trip, the card was blocked due to a fraud alert and could not use it for the rest of the trip.

• In addition, an FIA credit card complaint claimed of poor and terrible customer services.

• Also, a lot have been complaining about their credit card limits being lowered. They claim of religiously paying their bills and that the FIA card services don’t have any grounds of changing their rates.

The above FIA credit card complaints are just a few of the overwhelming grievances that the customers have been posting in the internet. So after these things being presented to you, what do you think? Is FIA card services a scam? You be the judge.
